CNC
We have a variety of CNC lathes available from simple 2 axis with tailstock to 4 axis with sub chucks. Capacities range from 5C collet to 10” chucks. Most of our lathes are bar fed with chip conveyors, live tooling, and parts catchers for production jobs.
Our 3 axis mills run from a HAAS Mini Mill to several VF2 and VF3 mills, several with a 4th axis. We purchased one of the first UMC-750 5 axis mills off the line which is capable of 3+2 and simultaneous 5 axis milling. 4 and 5 axis machining allows for fewer setups, better repeatability, and tighter tolerances.

Toolroom, Grinding, Keyways
Sometimes a manual machine tool is the best approach to low volume, prototype, or large parts. We have a fully equipped toolroom with experienced machinists. Multiple Bridgeport style mills, both manual and with conversational controls cut chips every day. Our lathes run from 5C collet to 30” diameter swing and 80” length with tailstocks and steady rests. In the age of CNC, our jig bore hasn’t been retired yet.
We’re ready for your grinding jobs with our cylindrical, surface, and jig grinders. Smaller jobs are handled on multiple toolroom grinders that can also be set up for cylindrical and centerless jobs. Our hydraulic surface grinders handle larger workpieces.
While we’re proud of our flexibility, sometimes you just need a machine tool to do one job and do it well. Our Hansford Davis Keyseater is that tool for broaching keyways.
Mold and EDM
Whether you’re working from a faded 50 year old print or a modern solid model, we can work with you to design an injection, compression, or transfer mold to your specifications. We design and build our molds in house. In 2020 we acquired Blue Chip Mold Inc, which has been designing and building molds since 1986, and added their skilled mold makers to our staff.
Our 4 axis wire EDM, sinker EDM, and hole popper add to our capabilities in hardened materials or where the highest precision is needed. We design and fabricate our electrodes in house.

Welding
Our welding capabilities include TIG, MIG, brazing, and soldering. We regularly work with aluminum, stainless, exotic alloys, and of course mild steel. We can fabricate assemblies that incorporate machining and welding components from start to finish, or weld your provided parts.​
